A senior lawyer once told me taking calls outside looked like I didn't take my work seriously. Within a couple of hours, his client called me instead.
In this solo episode, I share the moment I realized some of those old lawyer rules are still stuck inside me, even after building a practice entirely my way: monkeys were dancing right outside my door during a podcast, and I wouldn't turn my head to look because I didn't want to be unprofessional.
